The Collin County Emergency Closet is now Groom Outreach

Groom Outreach (GO) was created by members of the senior care community to collect donations of and provide medical equipment to less fortunate people at no cost. A 501c3 corporation was formed, and the name of the organization was changed because we serve an area greater than Collin County, to allow for growth, to be able to accept donations, and to be able to write tax receipts. Thank you for all your support.

Groom Senior Living, Inc. staff collect durable medical equipment from generous donors from all over the DFW area, and store the items in the unused garages of our Residential Care Homes. Feel free to drop donations at any one of our locations; please see "Map and Directions". We can pick up heavier items, if needed. If you will provide us with an item inventory, your name, address and email address we can arrange to have a tax deductible receipt sent to you.

We give donated items to people with a financial need, if they are referred to us by a partner or social worker. We do not deliver needed items, please arrange with family members to pick up.
